Today was the Red/White Scrimmage and, big surprise, the Huskers won, haha. Yeah, bad jokes aside, we looked pretty decent. The Red Team (those are the starters for those of you unfamiliar with Spring Game) won 35-7. The only points the White team scored was on Titus Brothers' 100 yard kick-off return. Incidentally, it was about two seconds before that play happened that I made the comment to Amy, "I don't think the White team is ever going to score." I'm glad I was wrong on that one. Our running game was a lot better than I expected it to be, but the stats for all the QBs besides Taylor did not look good. In fact, they were pretty awful. Check out Huskerpedia article to see the final tallies if you want. The addition to North Stadium is almost done and it will look pretty hott. Currently Memorial Stadium seats around 78,000 or so, maybe a little closer to 80,000. One of my roommates thinks it is close to 83,000 currently, because he said when those 6,000 are added, we'd be at about 89,000. Who knows, either way, we're still not nearly as big as Michigan, that stadium holds somewhere like 110,000 or so.
I went to the game with Amy and Matt from work. Matt's girlfriend and Amy's best friend from high school were there too. I had so much fun, Matt is a big goofball and a lot of fun to work with, and I haven't seen Amy lately because she actually quit Office Depot a few weeks ago, smart girl. But we had a good time and at least got to hang out for a while.

That's what I have so far, and yes, I know some of them are kind of strange (MmmBop especially, I know, I know) but they all definitely have meaning. I have decided I am going to put the songs in chronological order of importance to me, not necessarily the order they were released. 'Sara' is the first song for two reasons: 1) Duh (even though there is no 'h' it is a good lead-in to the rest of the book), and 2) It actually is the first song I have in my memory, though it is more of a 'recovered memory' because the stories have been told to me so many times, I feel like they are my own.
The project is a lot more time-consuming than I thought it would be. With mine and Drake's scrapbook, I had everything right there that I needed, whether it was pictures, ticket stubs, etc. In this case, some of the pictures I am really going to have to hunt for, especially in terms of the songs from high school. I found some cool cardstock and paper, and some great stickers and embellishments from different scrapbook stores around town. Unfortunately, no places have books of music quotes like they do have quotes about love, family, etc. I found some good music quotes online, but if anyone has some quotes they would like to contribute to my scrapbook, let me know.
